A4 or Letter? Prepare a simple DOCX for PDF sharing
Choose a page size deliberately and inspect headings, images and the final page after a browser-based DOCX conversion.

Ask where the document will be used
Before exporting a handout or a short letter, check whether the recipient expects A4 or US Letter. Use the requirement supplied by the recipient, printer, or submission form rather than assuming that either size is universally correct. If no size is specified, choose one and review the result consistently.
The 0UB tool offers A4 and Letter in portrait orientation. It accepts a single DOCX file up to 20 MB. Legacy DOC files, scanned pages, and PDF input are not supported by this tool. Keep the editable DOCX so that corrections remain straightforward.
Simplify the source before converting
Use clear headings and short paragraphs. Check that important information is present in the main document content rather than relying entirely on a header, footer, or special text box. Complex layouts can change during conversion, so a simple source is easier to inspect.
This converter extracts readable text and images, reflows that content, and renders PDF pages. It does not reproduce the full Word page layout. Original fonts, tables, headers, footers, and page breaks may change or be omitted. A chosen output page size does not guarantee identical pagination.
Review more than the opening page
Select the DOCX, choose A4 or Letter, and convert it. Download the PDF and inspect the first page, each heading, every image or table, and the last page. Look for content that has moved, been clipped, or left an unexpected blank area.
If you change the page size, create and review a fresh output rather than assuming the previous result still applies. Compare names, dates, totals, and any other essential details with the source. A file that opens successfully can still need layout corrections.
Choose another export route when fidelity matters
The rendered PDF may not contain selectable text. When text search, accessibility, exact page breaks, or a complex publication layout is essential, use the original document editor and its appropriate PDF export options. Review that export too.
Simple DOCX conversion is free and runs in the browser without uploading document content to 0UB. Large or complex documents can exceed browser limits. Keep the source and a clearly named final PDF together so that you can revise the document and export another copy later.
